OUR COMPANY HISTORY
2016 – Company foundation
Wafa Trading & Recycling GmbH is founded.
Start of operations in purchasing, sorting, and trading recyclable materials.
2017 – First vehicle and equipment expansion
The logistics fleet is expanded to meet rising customer demand.
Introduction of standardised internal processes.
2018 – Start of plastics recycling division
Launch of modern plastics sorting and preparation workflows.
First long-term partnerships with regional companies.
2018 – Hisham Khan joins the company after completing his Abitur
2019 – Relocation to a new 2,000 m² warehouse
2020 – First certification & expansion of the team to 6 employees
2021 – Certified Waste Management Company (EfbV)
Successful certification according to German Waste Management Ordinance.
Fulfilment of all legal requirements for environmentally compliant operations.
2022 – Purchase of a 10,000 m² property in Hockenheim
2023 – New service division launched
Additional recycling solutions for commercial customers.
2023 – Move into the new warehouse
2023 – Fourth certification
2024 – Fifth certification
2025 – Installation of a baling press & expansion of services
2025 – Team grows to a total of 12 employees
